Texas Roadhouse of East Greenwich will host a Fall Fundraiser to benefit Notable Works’ projects for families in need. There will be great food, raffles, prizes, country music and more and please call Bina at (401) 585-4037 or email: for your special voucher. If you present this voucher to the waiter or waitress, Notable Works will receive 10% of your total food bill that evening. Also, it’s still not too late to purchase 50/50 Raffle tickets for a chance to win one half of the money collected from the raffle. Tickets are 3 for $5.00 and 9 for $10.00. The raffle will be drawn at 9:30 the evening of this fall fundraiser at the Roadhouse. You need not be present to win.

Please join Notable Works at Books on The Square located at 471 Angell Street, on Providence‘s East Side for a Book Signing and Poetry Reading from Notable Works’ newly released books: Voices of the Earth: The Future of Our Planet. “Noreen, thank you for dropping off a copy of the book. I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m glad TNC’s preserves and projects inspire your poetry and art!” John Torgan, State Director of The Nature Conservancy Rhode Island Chapter and Love Warms The Homeless Heart. “I have had nothing but great feedback from our guests about the book. They love the combination of poetry with the very useful listing of services, all bound in one book.” Jessica Salter, Amos House. This event will feature poet David Dragone of Crosswinds Poetry; flutist and poet Dalita Getzoyan; Noreen Inglesi, poet and Editor In Chief of both books; poet Thomas Lane and Mary Ann Rossoni of Second Story Graphics who designed and illustrated both books.

We hope that you will consider attending Notable Works’ Concert and Poetry Reading at the North Providence Union Free Library located at 1810 Mineral Spring Ave. in North Providence, Rhode Island. At this event, Notable Works’ Artist In Residence Noreen Inglesi and the Notable Works Ensemble will feature original music and poetry focusing on Rhode Island’s natural environment and precious resources. Special guests include poets Nicole DiPaolo and David Dragone and performer Shawna Southern. Alicia Lehrer, the Executive Director of The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, will present a special slide show presentation. Special thanks to Lowes Home Improvement of North Providence for their extraordinary help with this event. Please come and enjoy great music, poetry, raffles, refreshments and more.
